Stitchville goes back to the year 1998 when I have re-discovered knitting. It took me eight years to grow into my role as a knitwear designer which, as I have come to realise, is my second nature. I have officially gone by that title since 2006, when I have launched my business as a freelance knitwear designer and tutor. Currently on sabbatical from tutoring, except for when I’m running a knitting holiday which is all about supporting knitters of all levels – this includes non-knitters! – to achieve new, ambitious goals they set for themselves.

In 2011 Stitchville became a publishing venture with focus on knitwear design, but also fostering a new vision of sustainable fashion industry embracing all forms of artisanal fashion related work.  I am continually designing and publishing my designs online.

Do check out BESPOKE  *  s low   c l o t h e s, which is packed full of knitwear and crochet designs for all levels of experience and inspiring articles about very talented and passionate artisans, who will make you anything bespoke – jewellery, shoes, bags, you name it!
